Decide how and when you get your new car to your forecourt.

Most cars are available for collection the next day, and we give you a 5 day collection window, so you can decide how and when you want to get your new car to your forecourt. 

We want you to have an easy collection experience every time, so make sure you follow the steps below.

Check the location of your vehicle

All cars on mfldirect clearly show their collection location, so you will be able to make buying decisions with collection in mind from the start.  Detailed collection information can be found on your purchase documents, so please make sure you download and check the handback location before making your collection arrangements. 

N.B. Our Doncaster refurbishment site is delivery only at the moment. 

Arrange for collection

The handback dealer/refurbishment site needs to know you will be coming to collect the vehicle, so they can make it available for you, so please make sure you call the site in advance. 

You can doublecheck the contact details of your collection location on your collection note, and if it is one of our refurbishment centres, follow their collection procedure:

If you are collecting your vehicle from either our BCA Fleet Solutions, MO Wymeswold or IT Fleet Doncaster refurbishment centres, please contact them 24 hours in advance either by phone or email.

Take the right paperwork

We want to protect your purchase, so vehicles are only released to people with the correct paperwork and identification. Please make sure that whoever will be collecting your car takes everything they need.

Give yourself time for your collection handover review

Our cars are not always in the condition we’d like them to be, so our claims process makes sure your car is returned to an agreed condition standard.

Your collection handover review is an important first step in the process, as it creates the Proof of Collection report that will support any claim you might need to make. It is really important that you take the time you need to make sure all the information is correct.
