Your Communication Preferences
Choose how and when we contact you.
We want to make sure you only get the information you need from us, so now you have more options to tailor the communications you want to receive.
Find out below how to add recipients to purchase and cancellation emails and how to tailor your personal communication preferences.
Purchase and cancellation confirmation emails
The person who buys any vehicle on mfldirect will automatically receive a purchase confirmation and (if applicable) a cancellation email, but now you can add up to 25 additional recipients per dealership.
If you have the relevant permission (assign order email recipients), you can quickly add and remove additional recipients by clicking on the Communications section in the Manage account pages.
- If you manage more than one site you can choose the dealership you want to edit from the list on the screen. If you manage a single site it will already be selected.
- Type in the email address of the person you want to add and click the Add button. Their email will now show in the list and they will start getting vehicle order and cancellation emails.
- If you need to remove an email address, just click on the bin icon next to the email address you want to remove. Their email will come off the list and they will stop getting these emails.
Personal preferences
We need to send you service messages and transactional communications, like emails related to you buying a car from us. You will always receive these emails, as you need them to do business with us. But as for everything else, the choice is yours.
You can update your personal communication preferences any time, by clicking on the Communications section in the Manage account pages and then clicking Manage Preferences.
From there you can easily toggle on, or off, any of the notification types. Please note, it can take up to 24 hours for the changes to take place.

mfldirect Stock Notifications
Our mfldirect stock is available for preview before it goes on sale, giving you the time to locate, review and decide which cars you want to buy. Our preview times are 1pm for the 2pm publication, and 4pm for the 9am publication the next day.
If you would like to be alerted when new preview stock is added, we can send you an email.

mfldirectAuction Stock Notifications
We have a weekly sales schedule of Tuesdays and Thursdays for cars and Wednesdays for WAVs with previews for each sale the day before.
If you are registered to buy through mfldirectAuction, you can set notifications to let you know when you can log in and review all the information on our fully-described cars and WAVs, and when you can start bidding and buying.
