Collection & Delivery To Northern Ireland
Since 1 January 2021, new legal, contractual and information rules have applied to the export of vehicles from England, Wales and Scotland westbound into Northern Ireland.
Our processes for the transportation of vehicles purchased from the UK Mainland to Northern Ireland are in place, so all vehicles on sale on mfldirect and mfldirectAuction are available for to purchase by Northern Ireland customers.
To meet our legal obligations, our Online Dealer Agreement now reflects the rules on delivery and collection of vehicles westbound to Northern Ireland.
Please note - these only apply to vehicles purchased from mainland UK and shipped westbound to Northern Ireland. Eastbound shipped vehicles or cars that are in Northern Ireland are not impacted.
Collections from Mainland UK
If you are based in Northern Ireland and are planning to collect a vehicle from Mainland UK, EXW Incoterms 2020 apply. You will be responsible for customs clearance and all associated taxes and duties, and you must make sure you follow the process and fulfil all requirements for clearance into Northern Ireland.
Delivery westbound to Northern Ireland
If you are based in Northern Ireland and want to use our delivery service for westbound overwater moves, delivery will be made in accordance with DDP, Dealer Delivery Address, Incoterms 2020.
We need to supply the correct paperwork for any overwater vehicle moves we perform on your behalf, so we need your Economic Operators Registration and Identification (EORI) number on record.
